In Australia today, we enjoy a stable governance structure gifted to us by our farsighted forebears – citizens from all walks of life, not just the powerful and privileged. They strived for near 30 years to piece our Federation together, based on a liberal democratic ‘representative government’ model, and to gain popular support for it.
It is now time for Australians to once again put in a similar effort for the benefit of today’s citizens and for future generations.
